It was one of my favorite restaurants until last night. Went to celebrate valentine's day with my boyfriend and we both got food poisoning. We both has the same meal, as for it was Thursday and they had the Thursday date night special, and it was horrible. The place was crowded and so loud, I could not hear anything but yelling. We were sat really close to another table and given no attention from the server. The food portions were really small for the price we were paying. I hate to give this review for a restaurant I once loved.

Service was very good. Steak was pricey, but great. Wine was delicious. It was a bit too crowded for my comfort the night we went, but we were seated right away (they dont take reservations). Overall nice atmosphere too.

If you are ever in the Ellicottville area and even if you are not you would it to yourself to take a trip solely to come visit this amazing cozy steakhouse. It has the feeling of fine dinning but with a homey touch. The owner, second generation owner maintains a lovely family feel to the place. I had the surf and turf which was delicious. The service was prompt, friendly, and inviting. Our waitress Maddison was a delight and very attentive. I wish I could give this place a 10. I love everything about this restaurant.
