Great place to spend your weekend! We were right next to the playground, thankfully because we had 11 kids. Beach was nice.

I went here back in 2014 and it was amazing! Clean facilities, clean lake, friendly staff, and fresh air. There was so much to explore!

Best campground around! We've rented 3 different cabins over the past few years & all of them we're great! Beautiful place to camp!! I've been going here for over 20yrs & will continue to every year, making new memories!

We gave been there during a power outage before..and it really will depend on the severity of the damage. Usual not to long..but we have never recieved a refund during those times..but that maybe different if your renting one of their cabins..
There are several 20+ foot pontoons out there and other style....However make sure you have someone that knows the water because there are several underwater hazards and you will damage your outdrive/motor and boat.....
When the office closes for the day
Legally you have to be 14 to work in Michigan with a few exceptions such a golf caddy. That is the legal age to work but you will have to check with the park to see what age their policies allow. Also if during the school year, you need a work permit from your school.
According to the front page of their website (where I go when I want to know anything about Alcona county park), they reopen to take reservations April 1st 2020.
Anywhere from 30 I believe to 60. Depends on if you're getting Kayak, Canoe, etc etc
There is over 200 site on the camp ground. I love this place with my family. I took some good pic and put on here for pple to sew. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is sooo nice
There are canoe liveries all around the area..there is one about 3 or 4 miles up the road from the campground.. drop you off and pick you up canoe trips and day/weekly rentals..
Its just a busy time..but you can make reservations anyday..
They are only going to answer during season. April 15th if I'm not mistaken is the official opening day.
April 1st I believe
Alcona has cabins that are wheelchair accessible.
Alcona Park leases the property from Consumers Power, we are managed by the township that appoints a board. We are a municipality so all the monies that Alcona Park makes goes back into the park.
