I saw this restaurant out of the corner of my eye and turned around just to check it out. Yes by far one of the best fish Fry's I've had in along time. Nice clean, and the wait staff was awesome. Definitely worth the drive.

I was really disappointed in the food. Service was excellant. Drinks were great. Stuffed mushrooms were tasteless and greasy. French onion soup was watery and lacked the rich onion flavor expected. We both got mashed potatoes and they left a really funky after taste. Worst coleslaw my husband or I ever tasted. It had a strange sheen to it. I was supposed to have 2 sides, but only got my potatoes. I had no desire to even try the side I didn't get. The blue cheese dressing was some of the best I've ever had. Maybe it was just a bad night for the kitchen. I have only heard the best things sbout this restautant. With the tip we spent $98.00. Not worth anywhere near that price. It was my birthday, so I was really bummed.

*** Wednesday August 11, 202- Updated review! My daughters and I went in, because I've been so excited to go back after the wonderful experience had over a year ago! This time we had dinner... I was seriously disappointed! Definitely not like it was when my Aunt and I went in for lunch over a year ago... I could go on and on about what was wrong, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum... the baked beans were old, sawdust dry and just awful. The steaks were over cooked, we ordered rare and medium rare, one was medium rare and one was medium almost verging on medium well... there was what very definitely looked like mold on the orange slice garnish, and the smelled sour... the portion of mashed potatoes was tiny and looked to be less then 1/2 a cup... They were weird looking and kind if pasty in consistency, where as the baked beans was a large portion, almost like they were trying to get rid of them... The gentleman that I believe owns the restaurant was berating an employee right in the dining room, loud enough for us to hear in the corner... it was an uncomfortable situation, that I definitely didnt feel comfortable saying anything about the bad food... we paid for our meals and left... the waitress was super sweet, and tried her best, checking on us regularly... we tipped according to her service, and definitely not the quality of the food... I understand everyone is struggling to keep their businesses running, but when you pay $30 plus tip for just one meal, over $80 plus tip for 3 meals, you definitely expect it to be above average, with decent portions. Maybe it was just what we ordered??? I dont know, but it was an uncomfortable meal, and way different then the last time we were in there! Amazing food! Nice size portions! Classy atmosphere, with reasonable prices!supper friendly staff, that absolutely make you feel welcome! I NEED to have a Prime Rib dinner here SOON! From the smells coming off the grill and out of the kitchen it's going to be MARVELOUS! Thanks for a wonderful lunch! Cant wait to come for dinner!

Great place for lunch or dinner! The staff was friendly, attentive but not pushy. The service was fast. The food is great. The menu includes hand pattied burgers, sandwiches, home made soups, and salads for lunch. After 4 PM they offer a variety of American type foods such as steaks, chops, ribs and shrimp scampi. Friday's they offer fish fry and Saturday the special is Prime Rib. Everything we have ordered tastes fresh and cooked to order. They also offer full bar service. We have had bloody Marys, vodka and tonic and Manhattans. All drinks were just prefect. We have eaten 3 times in the past 2 weeks, once for lunch and twice for dinner. For lunch, I had the french onion soup and house salad. The soup was delicious with plenty of melted cheese and the salad was fresh. My other half had a hand pattied bacon cheeseburger with local Cuba cheddar cheese and hand cut fries. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked to order and the fries were delicious too. We have eaten there for dinner, twice. Both times, we both had the Saturday special, Prime Rib dinner. Both times, the Prime Rib was one of the best we have ever eaten! We have eaten there 3 times over the past 2 weeks. We're trying to figure out how to fit in one visit before we leave the area!
