The Sunset Restaurant

Called in an hour and a half head of time and made a reservation. When I got there they could not find my name or reservation. I wanted to sit on the patio for the view. Manager at the counter kept saying you should have called for a reservation. I even showed him my phone but he wouldn't even look at it. Finally upon approaching him a second time, they seated me close to the patio. I was disappointed that I wasn't believed in the first place. I ordered a salad with salmon. Salad arrived but there was no salmon. I have to bring it up to the attention of another server. My server brought me a beer but no glass. My previous experience with this restaurant was that they brought me a glass with my beer; I was not at a bar. I had to request it. The salmon portion was on the smaller side but it was absolutely delicious. My salad was as expected. Prior to the current management, it was a better experience. They are lucky that the best part of this restaurant is the view of the Pacific Ocean. The staff were nice as they should be especially with a courteous patron. I will probably come back but my experience tonight far from desired.

Very pleasant. Nice to actually see the “sun-set”from our table. A real beach restaurant with food and drink just right.
