One of the hidden gems in Nashville for antiques. It's got an eclectic mix of furniture, plates, jewelry, and a lot of other things that I just can't describe for the sake of time. Fo yourselves a favor and go check out Gaslamp 2. It will be worth your trip.

We were looking for something to do before heading to the airport for a flight home, and found this wonderful antique mall! So many vendors, well lit, spacious aisles, clean displays and not musty smelling. There was even a "canteen" area to sit and have refreshments in. Wish we'd had more time! Very friendly folks!

GasLamp 1 & 2 are retail locations for dealers to sell their items - typically antiques and vintage items. While an individual dealer might have interest in buying items from a private seller (like yourself) - the store doesn't buy items from the public, like a Pawn Shop or Second Hand store might. It's really a cooperative/collective of dealers, who rent spaces/booths from GasLamp, so they can sell their items, without having to rent or buy a standalone retail store. Just like you might go to a Farmers Market and find a seller who's interested in something you're trying to sell - the actual operators of the Farmers Market aren't in the habit of buying and reselling from the public. Hope that clarifies things a little. A lot of dealers/sellers find their items, to fix up or "plop" down in their GasLamp booths on Craigslist Facebook Marketplace, or even Nextdoor App. Keep in mind, dealers are looking for DEALS and TYPICALLY won't pay you but a fraction of the item's value.
