Service has gone completely down hill. Last week money was withdrawn from my account supposedly due to a teller error and had to waste a lot of time getting the issue resolved. This week I received a notice that my SSB mortgage escrow had not paid my Home Insurance and my coverage is now lapsed. Used to be a nice bank but cannot recommend. Wish I had gotten my mortgage away from there while rates were still low and then I could move my other accounts as well.

This bank froze my bill pay then made payments without my permission and immediately reported them to collections. Dropping my credit score. Never got a phone call. Now i still can't access bill pay online. A real bank helps its consumers by protecting them from actions like this. A real bank helps build your credit, not tear it down. A real bank communicates with you before taking action. This bank is like Wells fargo.
