I was in need and the staff helped me feel welcome and safe, as I waited my turn I observed others in need being cared for in the same way, with kindness, courtesy, respect and empathy. Than you UCHealth

Genuinely kind and knowledgeable. Thier patient care was on point! Not like I ever want to go to Urgent Care, but if it comes up again, you bet I'll be heading here.

Dr. Edmonds was absolutely great, she was calming, empathetic and kind. The nurse who we saw before the Dr., though- not so much. Jesse, the nurse, brought us back and at first was fine, I explained recent emergency surgeries my son had to have which left him pretty nervous and apprehensive about the doctors offices. As soon as he wanted to do a throat swab, my son who was feeling super sick (obviously) started to cry. Jesse got impatient pretty quickly that my son wouldn't do the swab. My son asked "what if I throw up", Jesse responded by saying "then you throw up, no big deal"- my son is 6. Jesse kept saying c'mon, I have other patients to see, I do this all day everyday, we have to do it, and kind of laughing while my son cried. I was trying to calm him down and get him to do the swab, after a few minutes, Jesse impatiently threw the swab in the trash and said he would have the doctor see him and he walked out. I did not respond to Jesse as I was very disappointed in his lack of bedside manner for a sick kiddo -my sick kiddo. I understand it was the end of the day, maybe he had had a long day, but when you work with sick people, especially kids, who you just learned have recent medical trauma, have a little empathy. When leaving the office, we walked past him and he didn't say anything. Dr Edmonds though, she was great! She came in, was quick, sweet, caring, gentle and empathetic. I am so grateful she was our doctor and we didn't get a Dr. who had the same disposition as the nurse.

My husband and I need to have a Covid test (rapid preferred) to meet a cruise ship requirement. We need to get this test on October 6, and have the results asap. How soon may we schedule the test for October 6?

We did a walk in as they say they don't have availability for appointments. Our results came back in 2 days.. they will tell you 72 hours most likely.

Is this urgent care facility a regular urgent care or more like a er

Strictly urgent care. Has the feel of a doctor's office. They can do xrays; beyond that they would suggest you go to a hospital.
