We had an amaazzzing night for a surprise beach bonfire birthday party! Sara with event services is THE best. She is so kind and understanding and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She really listened and followed up on all our needs. It's a lot to coordinate planning a surprise party but she made it easy and made sure we understood what we needed and what was provided. Dawn was also very sweet and helpful the day of the party. She really knows all the nitty gritty details you will need and was so amazing in assisting us set-up and help coordinate the flow of events for the night of the party. It's a beach party!!! So exciting and and the beach is great! The area was spacious and clean. The tables, food stations and cute little tiki bar were set up nicely. Our bartender Sandy was also so friendly and had a genuine smile on her face all night. She made really good cocktails. Its such a beautiful space and it was nice they provided some lighting bc it can get pretty dark. Having the beautiful ocean backdrop and fresh sea air made it special. We really lucked out and had beautiful September weather. So gotta send thanks to God and mother nature too! For cocktail hour we had the Dim Sum station- it was freshly cooked and flavorful. It was nice to have warm food welcoming the guests coming in right from work. For dinner we had the Beach buffet- so good! Our high compliments to the Chef and also to the staff who grilled the dinner right on sight. We are all foodies and the food was fresh, cooked perfectly and had delicious flavor. The steak and the lavender honey salad dressing was my favorite. Desserts were scrumptious too. Towards the end of dinner we had a good-sized metal fire pit and opted for the s'mores kits. The s'more kits came in cute little individual cellophane bag kits nicely presented in a big wicker basket near the fire pit. Most of the guests loved hanging out on the Adirondack chairs and enjoyed the warm glow as the night got cooler. Although in hindsight I would probably not do the S'mores package and just have the fire pit because a lot of my guests sadly did not end up making them. It was kinda a waste because they were so full from the buffet, desserts and bday cake. My only wishes were that the bathrooms would be closer and that the party were longer than 4 hours so I could fully enjoy the fire pit, dance more and eat more of that wonderful buffet! I would definitely recommend having a late summer party here at the beach. Party goes on rain or shine and its nice to have a better chance for good weather. The party was well worth it and a must do for any big celebration. Overall, it was definitely a memorable night - Sand in your toes, good drink in one hand, moon in the sky, lovely night breeze and family and friends all around. My sister was so surprised and so happy. She is still talking about it!
