Great butcher shop. There aren't many like this left. Friendly butchers who know what they are doing and what you should do with their products to get the best return for your money. They carry groceries and many other items.
Mike Martens
Great selection of house made and smoked sausages. They have harder to find items like wild boar as well. Was able to get everything I needed for the weekend bbq even hot links which are a bit out of season. Great friendly service as well.
Paul J
Great Meats, a little pricier than Jewel, but so worth it.
Henry Bangsberg
Top notch butcher shop. Helpful staff and a wide selection of hard to find meats and sausages. There are lots of seasonal sausages and specials each month

All of our beef comes from local Midwestern farms through a handful of meat purveyors with our main one being Aurora Packing Company
We do not, but you can try calling Chicago Game to see if they do sell Kangaroo meat and which grocery stores may carry it.
We tried carrying it a couple years ago and nobody bought it unfortunately so we will be sticking with our grass fed grain finished cattle. Thanks for the question.
We do not, but if you browse around Devon and Western Ave you should be able to find a couple local stores which do.
We do! We also sell veal bacon and lamb bacon as alternatives to pork bacon.
We do not have duck bacon, but we do sell smoked duck breast or duck pastrami which you could slice thin and fry up as bacon!
Yes.
Unfortunately we do not.
We do sell Swedish potato sausage (potatiskorv). We also do sell potato salad contrary to a separate comment, both homemade American (mayonnaise based) and homemade German (vinegar based) potato salads.
I don't know, to be honest.
No I am sorry we do not.
If they don't have it on hand I'm sure they could get it for you.
I think they mix it up. You can always call them directly. But, a few weeks ago they were selling both the Tailgater and the Thuringer at a Halloween fest.
I don't have a great answer for where they get their rabbits. I do know that Local Foods has relationships with their rabbit farmer.
From our website: Covid-19 Notes: When shopping with us, be sure to wear a mask, social distance as much as possible, and know that we have had 3 Respicare air purification systems installed in our shop as one of the many actions taken to make our store safe to shop at! Hope to see you soon :)
We do make homemade Irish Bangers!
It is not a majority black owned market. We do not sell whole lamb, but we do recommend check out Spartan Brothers at Harlem and Touhy for whole lamb retail purchases.
We do not, sorry!
I saw pork headcheese in there this weekend, so I'd imagine they'll get you cow head meat.
I would call Paulina
You can order online or Walk in and place your order. They're very helpful.
Likey goat. Not likely horse. Call them.
We do carry pork cheeks (kept in the freezer in the back, just ask the butcher you are working with), but they are not Iberian, sorry!
I think it would be best to call. I did not notice it but I was not looking for it
Yes we can, advised to call ahead and place an order. Cash or credit are accepted. Call us at 773-248-6272. Looking forward to getting you some lamb chops!
No I am sorry we do not sell those. You may want to try John’s Poultry at Fullerton and Austin.
We do have Picanha. When our website is back up on Wednesday, feel free to search for it in our beef section, www.paulinamarket.com.
Yes they do
Yes we do, from Superior Farms out of Colorado! Fresh in the counter all year round :)
Thanks for the questions and the review from the local guide is correct. We sell fresh ducks in our poultry counter all year round!
No sorry we do not take the link card but we do have Amish chicken.
Paulina markets is a great butcher shop. They have all a sorted type of meats to service your needs.
We do sell pork neck bones and smoked ham jocks and frozen salmon as well.
Yeah they do
They really don't have fish.
I've never asked, but I can attest that their smoked meats are all awesome.
Not unless there is a holiday on a Monday and sometimes for other reasons. We were open the last Sunday before Christmas (2018) because it was on a Tuesday, but are not sure about this upcoming 2019 Christmas. Check our website/social media/front door for hours.
You probably meant Kobe beef..they sell prime and choice.
We make it and freeze it and it $11.95/lb. Thanks!
They do.. Same with the jerky and many of the specialty deli case meats!
Freezer fer sure
$17.95/lb. Thanks for the question
Yes. In the steak case to your right side when you walk in. They're glorious.
No, they are grass fed grain finished steer with no added hormones, antibiotics or steroids. Thanks for the question.
They have stuff that you make sandwiches out of.
Most independent grocers in Chicagoland sell chicken feet. Or try any of the Asian supermarkets like H-Mart. You’ll probably find everything you need for Ramen there.
We have lamb bacon and we have smoked duck breast and duck pastrami which people use for duck bacon. I’m not at work right now and can’t remember the price off the top of my head but I think the lamb bacon is around $15 per pound and the duck is a little more. Thanks for the question!
They carry a lot of different meats. I don't believe Ostrich is one of them.
We do. All of the shipping is done thru our website. If the shipping state is in a ground zone the product ships free and there is a $12.50 handling charge. If it is outside a 2 day ground zone it has to go 2 day air which is half of the normal price and the $12.50 handling charge is included in that price. There is a minimum of $75 to ship an order. Thanks for the question!
Yes I believe they sell smoked ribs is small quantities.
