Worked out well for a family gathering. A bit windy however.

The best experience for my children.

Great campgrounds. Enjoyed the stay -- close to the beach.

Quiet. Can hear the ocean. Near Hearst Castle. Has restrooms that are fairly clean but no flushing ones. Has a water spigot. Has trails that go to the beach but easier to just drive over across the street.

Yes, they have envelops for payment at the kiosk.
Yes the is potable water by the host for filling your trailer
Yes, plenty of trucks and trailers out here
It is a bit of a walk to the beach but no walking to the pier you will have to drive up the highway to get to the pier and the walk to the beach from the camp grounds is also up/down hills if you want to be close to the beach I would recommend staying is San Simeon state Park it's a easy walk to the beach from any spot there
It's better if you made advance reservation aheadof time. People with trailer homes or campers tend to leave earlier than regular campers. 10A.M is a safe time to arrive for a regular 3 day weekend vs. Long weekends.
Yep, since it just reopened, it has been very full. We were just there for 5 days. I believe that they are only taking reserved guests, right now. They have new C-19 protocols that are being enforced
Check out Washburn at San Simeon. Very safe and family oriented.
I e-mailed them. Got a response back quickly.
Yes. Just explain what happened. Lots of open spaces.
