C Qs is a charming restaurant with good service. I am not the type of person to complain to a waiter about my food, ever. I was excited to order a 12 oz NY strip with carrots and a potato cake. The carrots and potatoes were delicious, but the steak was cooked well-done with no pink, whereas I ordered it medium rare hoping for slightly cool pink in the center. Given it is a $50 steak, I showed the waiter who promised a quick new steak. I was shortly notified they were out of the NY strip, so I settled on the sirloin ( love sirloin but wanted the strip for a change). They brought me, very quickly, a new sirloin dinner, with asparagus and fried potato patty. To my disappointment, this steak was cooked medium - medium well, with only the slightest bit of pink in the very middle. I was also disappointed to find my sides were replaced with different ones, albeit good, not what I ordered or wanted. At this point I was tired of making a fuss and waiting to enjoy dinner so I gave up. To add to the dissatisfaction, my old fashioned and Manhattan drinks were mediocre at best. Additionally, my wife and I ordered desert to go, she ordered the fruit cobbler, only to find out she got a smushed blackberry cobbler only. To add insult to injury, we didn’t enjoy our only nice dinner reservation of our entire trip and paid over $200 for it with the tip. We enjoyed other dining experiences much more than this place.

Once you get over having to pay ten dollars to drive into the gated neighborhood where the restaurant is located, things start looking up. The restaurant is warm and inviting, the service is thoughtful and professional. Not afraid of cream the she crab soup is rich and lovely. Beet salad smart and clever and the crab cakes rich, generous amount of crab, creamy, nicely browned. I'm glad we went here.

This is a great local restaurant in Harbourtown. The food was fresh and well prepared. We had the wedge salad, cucumber soup special, chicken and wild shrimp. Dessert was blueberry cobbler and ice cream. A touch on the expensive side even for Hilton Head but nice ambience and solid wait staff.

This is a great restaurant with a ton of history in Hilton Head. The bartenders were super nice and made some great drinks. I ordered the clam chowder and scallops for dinner, both made perfectly and were delicious. My wife said the peanut butter pie was amazing! Thank you for the great dinner, we’ll be back!
