My husband and I honeymooned in Hilton Head two years ago. We came back for our first family vacation with our 10 month old. We went to the Black Marlin for dinner last night, at first we weren’t sure about it because it started off pretty slow, but Brett was our waiter and he was amazing. He was so attentive to our Paisley Faye, brought her orange slices, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and even us a champagne toast! I highly recommend!

Black Marlin Bayside Grill is a seafood restaurant in a marina just under the Coligny Beach Bridge. The restaurant claims to have a view of the marsh running through Hilton Head Island, but it is not as good as views at other locations that mention their views (Old Oyster Factory, Poseidon). It took some time to be served, but our waiter was good when he finally got to us. The table ordered the Pimento Cheese Dip as an appetizer, and it ended up being one of the best dishes we ate. I ordered the Shrimp & Flounder Fried Seafood Basket (and upgraded to a platter) and enjoyed it. My fiancé ordered the Prime Burger and thought it was just okay. She also did not get cheese on it like she asked. Overall, it's a decent place to eat for lunch or dinner, but there are better places on the island.

Yes,if you put in Marriott hotels Hilton Head you will see even if they don't bare the name Marriott owns 12 on Hilton Head it makes it easy to compare rates and amenities.I love the Westin resort absolutely perfect.

No, they do a breakfast buffet. They do have oyster roasts, but no seafood buffet.
