I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough for my grandson who is just under 2 to do, but he had a ball. The price was much more reasonable that the big city science museums. Everything looked clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Kids $6, under 2 free, adults $10, seniors $8
There's lots of things they can do! There is a whole floor of interactive exhibits, where they can use a driving simulator or tinker with gadgets, among other things. There is a planetarium that plays educational films that they would enjoy watching, and there is an area outside where they can learn about different habitats! There is also an exhibit about the history surrounding Licking County, and while they may not be too interested in that, they may like the little historically accurate shops and businesses that they have. They would love it, all 3 of them!
Great place for younger elementary aged kids!! An evening event there might be a nice date. It's pretty in the art areas. The second floor has local history that's a little less interesting for the kids.
My 1 year old likes to look at some of the things, but only briefly. For young kids the real selling point is the play section Adam mentioned. That is for sure where my kids spend most their time.
