This is a wonderful place to visit. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The gift shop is fantastic, and everything sold benefits the museum, but don't let that scare you...the prices are dirt cheap!

Our historic sites preserved and new trails made on old canal beds make this community a very nice place to live free 🇺🇸

Questions & Answers

I have never been there but I plan on it. I want to now is it really heisey glass and if so is it a great place. I am a heisey and I am related to the people who made that glass. I want to now how y'all like it.

It is a wonderful Museum and wonderful glass. Yes all Heisey or items made from the Heisey moulds are displayed. Plan to spend a full day here, (especially with your family connection) as we are a museum of three buildings of three floors full of history and art all from the Heisey glass factory of Newark, Ohio.

This is most likely the Heisey #1 Madonna that was made as a reproduction fundraiser. The D is for Dalzell Viking who made the piece for the Heisey Collectors of America to raise funds to sustain the National Heisey Glass Museum.
