I love the fresh produce markets. Also the best thing they have there is the ‘fresh, chopped up, frozen vegetables’ already packaged.

I have absolutely love this produce marketing. The prices here are always very reasonable, and the fact that the food is generally quite a local is refreshing. I really am big into supporting my local farmers. I wish they still had smithstone creamery, but I don't think that's anything that they can control, sadly. Other than that, everything is fairly clean considering it's an open-air market and the produce is quite fresh.

This time of year they occasionally have muscadines, however, I do not recall ever seeing the Georgia Purple.
Southside Produce in Denham Springs had fresh purple hull peas and horticulture shell beans last Thursday.
They are seasonal you can also ask them I would start looking now before spring is over.
