They answer the phone when you call “we take care of moms and dads” but in my opinion they fall far short of that. My parents lived there for 2 1/2 years before moving to another facility. In that time we saw a high turnover in staff and deteriorating care. They were left in their rooms and staff did not get them out to participate in activities. On several occasions when I arrived for a visit I had to seek out a care partner to come to the room to clean up my mom. The final incident was my dad falling and having to be hospitalized for a week. Upon his discharge back to ILK the hospital orders were not followed. He was supposed to have oxygen and never received it. Management recommended his moving to memory care, said my dad was wheelchair-bound and spoke to my brother about hospice care. Thank goodness my brother looked into other facilities and moved my parents out on December 30. My Dad got the oxygen he needed and in just 6 weeks he was using his walker, gained 10 lbs. and is out of their room every day and participating in activities. Thank goodness my parents got out when they did.

I will be coming up on my 5th year working for inspired living and it is by far the best place to work . I mean what could be a better place where you have a great atmosphere of employees and you get to spoil our moms and dads with love and care . Making sure our moms and dads are happy is something I truly love to do if that means making a silly face or doing a funky dance to make them smile i am all for it. Im am truly thankful to have such a great team to work with and such loving mom's and dads whom I've had learned so much from ....🥰

I am so grateful for this caring, beautiful community. I sleep easy at night knowing my mother is comfortable, safe and well taken care of. Amanda made this difficult transition bearable and handled our family with such love and grace. Her assistant Tiffany has continued to communicate with us on mom’s progress and is so kind and helpful. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting other families and no longer feel alone.
