I purchased a window unit and within 3 weeks the unit broke. I called barto and they told me that they have nothing to do with warranty repairs on their unit. I had to contact my credit card company to stop payment. After I stopped the payment barto contacted me immediately and told me that I couldn’t do that. They are now picking up their broken ac unit from my home. They did not offer any help to rectify this problem. Buyer beware!

I went against my better judgment in buying from here. Was hoping to support a local, independent store instead of going to a big box store. Asked for her recommendation for a stack washer/dryer and she said the Electrolux was easily the best. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. What a joke. The dryer hasn’t worked properly since I’ve had it. Had the repair guy come out twice to try and help. Said the thermostat needs to be replaced. Brand units. I called the salesperson and she just gave me the repair company’s phone number and then blew me off. Do not buy from here. Not to be trusted, and customer service was nonexistent.
