Stayed here several times with my best friend when she was still with us. The times we spent together at the lovely Chambery Inn are among my happiest memories of times spent with her. It’s a wonderful unique little Inn and in my opinion one of the very best places to stay in the Berkshires.

We loved the idea of an old schoohouse becoming a B&B. You were instantly transported back in time upon entering. There are original blackboards in the rooms and hallways too. The notes left are fun and interesting to read. The room we had was very large with some nooks and crannies that added to the charm. It included a nice gas fireplace and seating area. The bathroom was large, clean, and updated. The colors and furniture was period appropriate and very appealing. Close to very good restaurants. The Starving Artist Cafe was a great find and the dinner we had at Cafe Triskell was excellent. We will be back!!

Our room was beautiful and very clean, our host was very nice and welcoming! It was Valentines Day so there was a complimentary plate of chocolate covered strawberries in fridge for us, what a lovely treat! On our way out we ran into a housekeeper who was friendly and lovely to talk with. An all around great experience and we will be back!😍

Small Inn with unique charm and intriguing history. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Former school authenticity is in every detail. Not enough stars options. I rate this Inn 10 stars.
