Gorgeous! Worth the walk. Its a 2 hour loop. 1.5 if your really high paced.

Very nice for a small area. Mix of smooth, open trails (old road, meadow) and typically rocky, rooty tight maine woods trails (ridge, indian, apalachee). Dog friendly. Big plus to have off road option that's local.

Was just OK - there are a lot more scenic and better hikes in the area, not really worth it

This preserve has woods,wetlands including a large lake and fields with birds and wildflowers. The southern tip has a dam where ice was harvested in the 1800s. You can make the hike longer by using the Indian Trail to access Appalachee Preserve - all really beautiful.
