My experience all be it four years ago was 100% plus. The staff in the Recorder's office were most friendly and helpful. They made my visit enjoyable.

The clerk of courts spelled my occupation wrong on my official wedding certificate. Fine. I call the office and they proceed to tell me that I spelled my own profession wrong. Not only did I spell it wrong, but when I looked over all the paperwork for a second time in person I didn't notice it was wrong. I call BS now. She proceeds to tell me there is nothing they can do to fix it. The paperwork is "automatically generated via computer." Translates to: I don't want to perform my job duties. Bye! Cheers to my marriage being stronger than the clerk of courts spelling capabilities! 🎉

Not happy to be there but the staff was very nice and accommodating . Took one star off for the AC not working properly.

You can start on line. Just go to the county website and you'll see like 6 blocks, one is taxes, one fines, et cetera. Click on the one that says marriage licenses.
I don't have an answer for that question. Call the Courthouse. They are very helpful.
