Great place for bird watching. Fall colors at their peak now in mid-October. Plus Amanita mushrooms if you're lucky. Don't eat!!!

Interpretive park is a paved shortcut, tween the historical park and My 8 person cabin tent land. It's a quiet trail with s few pedastrians. Is knott the place to go ifYou are hunting for scrapmetal.

The landing at the end of the walk had boards up for interpretive displays, but nothing on them. There is almost nothing interpretive about the park. The walk to it has sign describing the types of plants. But that’s it. Nice trail, but not really an “interpretive park”.
