I was originally told it would take up to 14 days to repair my 200-500mm lens when I dropped it off. It’s been 6 weeks now still on parts hold. I’ve missed many of fall migration bird photo opportunities during this time and I will still have to pay over $500 whenever they repair it. I’ve brought my lenses here in past years with worse damage but it has never taken this long. The date has already been pushed back once and the latest date for part to come in was yesterday. As of now the status is still the same and I’m not feeling confident to get it back anytime soon. Not sure if this an isolated case or the new norm now . Either way it’s disappointing.

Do not buy Nikon equipment. They have my camera for maintenance for 23 days now! How is that possible for a company that service professionals???? I was a Canon user and that never happened before. Their customer service is horrible! They do no offer solutions, they do not update you, they do not even offer a way to compensate all the trouble and pain they cause by keeping the main source of income from a professional. Terrible service and very frustrating. Keep away from Nikon!

Absolutely horrible service. I sent my nikon DSLR in for repair and was quoted $350. They then tell me they are refusing to repair it, even though I had already paid for a repair for it because it was originally intended for the Japanese market. Total waste of time and money to deal with them. I'm now stuck with an unusable camera since their support staff offer no help.
