Rocky point Mavis has went down hill quality & service has become a joke. I've been a mavis customer for a long time. 7+ cars and average repair history from 3-10k a year. sometimes minor to major tune ups etc. But mavis has now lost a customer for life. Went to the rocky point branch for an oil change. The tech cant get the filter off. Drains oil refills it same filter. Car takes 0w20 they put 5w20 at no point on time did the manager mention the bulk oil weight until service was partially completed. Mavis fails to effectively train employees or hire competent techs. Manager blames the last person who did the oil changs. Mgr tells me told me the car isn't registerd it did not come up in my system. It's been registered for a year already. I went home got under my car in the drive way. I loosened the filter metal cap no issue. It came off easy. It took more time to partially jack the car up. Oem filter out and in. I had to re-drain the bulk oil as I only use synthetic. Wasted 50$ for oil incomplete service. This was 10/6. On another occassion Brought another vehicle in for an alternator. Made an appointment 2 days prior. Show up for the intended date oh we can't get to it until Saturday we are completely booked . I made an appointment for Friday. Ok Saturday. can't get to it i was told. Sunday mechanic not in. Monday they did not get to it.. Tuesday nothing. Wednesday I can't do this job I'm the only one here I'm sorry. I'm done with the nonsense. constant lack of manpower or skilled personnel.
