Ordered delivery from them. Samgyupsal 삼겹살 was $30 and this is the portion size we got. Thin, sad slices of pork. Unbelievable. Called the restaurant to make sure there wasn’t a problem with the order (we were thinking maybe they had made a mistake), but the store staff matter-of-factly insisted “this was it,” without engaging in the issue with us. Easy to think they must get similar calls often. Stay away.

I know the beef fried rice doesnt look the best .. especially in a takeout container but it was very flavorful and delish! Throw some kimchi n radish in there!! Their kimchi is good, but their radish is crack The oxtail soup was also delish.. personally i like the oxtail soup very bland but they do add salt/pepper on the side if you want to make it salty Def will order again.. and will def visit the store for the bbq

Questions & Answers

Is it true this restaurant serves live animals to customers?

The octopus isn’t even served alive. When plated it’s moving because of muscle memory. Clearly someone didn’t pay attention in school.

How and why do you serve live octopus? I understand that you are not a every evolved or sophisticated person/persons and most likely do not have a good command of the English language (and therefore do not know the meaning of the word barbaric)

The raw octopus dish ‘San-Nakji’ isn’t served alive. The tentacles of the octopus are still moving when plated because of muscle memory. Please keep your racism and hatred to yourself and let people eat the foods in their own culture.

Is it true that this restaurant is serving LIVE octopus and LIVE lobster to eat. Not cooked but live. How barbaric. How third world. I would boycott this restaurant. Yorkers pay

They don’t need your business either. Uneducated racist

Do they make a non spicy bean paste stew? I can never find it on any menu.

Hello Cindy, When you order the bean paste stew (doenjang jjigae), you can tell us to make it non-spicy. We'll gladly make that change for you. Thank you, Sik Gaek

Why sik Gaek had to shutdown their Flushing Location?

Im curious also. The other location doesnt appear to be owned by the same proprietor because the quality of the meats to me are of lesser standards. Never going back.
