I would like to express my thankfulness to ALL employees (each and every one) at Maplewood Stony Hill !!! Five Stars is not enough of a rating for me to express my gratitude to ALL that has been a part of my Mom’s and my journey here at Maplewood Stony Hill since October 2018. As for many of us having to experience your loved one going through the stages of Dementia it is so difficult to put into words the emotions of this disease. Maplewood Stony Hill has helped guide me through every aspect and every emotion these past almost 4 years and constantly reassuring me that I made the right decision to have brought my Mom to her new Home, and what I call “angels” taking care of her every need!!! The words “Thank You” and a 5 Star rating for Maplewood at Stony Hill in my eyes and heart are not enough for me to express fully my gratitude ~ Lisa Xo

Maplewood at Stony Hill has been a good fit for mom with their focus on memory care. Specifically the staff is patient and knowledgeable in dealing with memory issues and the space is beautiful and a manageable size. Additionally it has a nice outdoor space the residents can enjoy and a good layout for the rooms. Overall mom's reaction has been that the location is comfortable, she enjoys the food and with time she has been increasing her engagement in the daily activities. She appreciates the one on one attention from nursing, the aids and activities staff. During the transition, the Maplewood team fully engaged on topics that were important to us and made the initial move as easy as we could expect. These ranged from larger medical transition needs, to supplying furniture so the initial move was easier, to little things to help ease mom's transition. As expected with any move of this magnitude, there are learnings on how to work with the team. The team is busy, but there have been a couple individuals who have been very helpful to get us information or to make things happen as needed. Overall we have been very happy with the choice.

Our wife/mother/ grandmother has been under the care of the extremely talented and compassionate professionals at Maplewood for over 2 years. .. our family evaluated several memory care facilities during our decision process and Maplewood stood out as the premier facility across all care/facility parameters ... we remain totally at peace that we made the difficult but correct decison for the care of our loved one. Can not say enough about the knowledge and caring of the staff across all functions at Stony Hill

The transition of a spouse to a memory care facility is one of the most wrenching and emotional experiences in life. I cannot say enough positive things about Maplewood at Stony Hill. Their staff and personnel was there every step of the way and continue to support me and my family in so many ways. They represent the best in terms of care and compassion. And their attention to detail and programming are geared to helping each resident feel at home and valued. They deserve more than five stars, if possible….Thank you for all you do. 👏👏❤️

it's best to meet with the admissions folks to find out specifics for your family member - they can give you the best estimate based on what the individual's care needs call for
yes, but check with the community for specifics
The cost depends on the level of care that is needed. My mom needed help with showering and getting dressed and on a secured floor. The cost was about 10K/month.
My experience was I submitted my invoices to long term care insurer and funds flowed back into my mother's account. Had no issues with that set up
