Cute little low traffic dock with easy access for kayaks/canoes as long as you have a stratford beach sticker, although no one really checks. Also a good pokemon go spot

Under Surveillance! Otherwise, Pretty place to hang out. However FYI I noticed late last week that Feds or State police (not local) of some sort have this location under surveillance. Was across river in Milford and saw from my kayak, two people with both a long listening mic and a telephoto lens directed at pier. There was an additional drone on the shore with them, but it was not in the air, it was just sitting on the ground. This is far away but I figure it had to be the fishing pier they were surveilling. I know a nature photographer and ask them about what I saw and they told me those guys are not there for nature photography and to stay away from them and don’t ask questions. Not sure what’s going on but something is up.
