What an unexpected gem! The meal was magnificent - and not only for delighting in Chef John’s personal attention to the guests - it was beautifully imagined and exceptionally crafted plates. Delicious freshly prepared cuisine. Fresh and flavorful. Simple atmosphere, bar connected so it can be a little loud, chef was welcoming and friendly when he visited our table. Menu changes and specials change regularly.

What a great birthday dinner our party of four enjoyed at the Canal Side Inn! The excellent service, exceptional food and classic atmosphere all combined to give us a memorable dining experience.
