We have been attending St Thomas More for a year now and it has been a great home. The church is a combination of people from every walk of life, young families, wised grandparents, searching young adults, and every culture from around the world. There are people who are a thousand percent in and running after Jesus and his church and there are some who are still just searching for truth. Wherever you are on this journey there is a place for you at St Thomas More. We have a young child and we always feel welcome and supported despite our daughters occasional noise. No matter who we sit next to each week, we encounter kind and smiling people. Always treating our daughter like their own. Logistically the church community is huge, but it is set up so that everyone feels close to the alter. The campus is beautiful, filled with peaceful and wild hill country flora. The buildings themselves are reminiscent of the 70s, so nothing to blow you away. but they do a great job decorating for the liturgical season so that the entire family can see, hear, touch, and even smell the rhythm of the church year. They also have many kinds of ministries that you can engage with if you like to be feed and challenged outside of Sunday mornings. I feel a little silly reviewing a church on Google, because Jesus shows up every time at every Catholic Church, 5 stars. But if my review helps anyone choose St Thomas More for a Sunday or for their family then I am glad I did it.
