This is how trees are planted and its always customers at fault, sometimes more water, no water or its the wind. I was told replacement cost is more than 500 dollars. I had only asked quote for 7 green giants and they already had me on schedule to plant 7 more completely different trees. No thank you.

Horrible customer service. For a small, family owned company Ed has lost touch with his customers. Numerous calls and messages were done concerning a dead tree his team had planted. He refused to even look at it in person and would only say it’s healthy or give it time etc. Almost a year now, he still refuses to address customer concerns. Take your business elsewhere as he will not admit or own up to something that does not benefit him.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I would not recommend Arbor Hills to anyone. We purchased 22 trees last June with a one year warranty. This May, I reached out to Ed because two of them had died. First, he told us because of the bad winter "a lot of places were not honoring their warranty." When I pointed out that's not really how a warranty works, and the three trees we bought from another nursery were all just fine, then he switched his story to say he would not honor the warranty because he came by to look at our trees one day and they were all dry. *note: when he came by, it was the hottest week of summer so far and we were away on vacation. Also, the other 20 trees are still alive and thriving, with significant growth. Finally, after contacting him multiple times with copies of the warranty his "solution" was to charge a delivery fee and for us to pay more per tree for 2 SHORTER trees than I paid initially. I was shocked. I have never written a review before, but I feel other people should be aware of what they are getting into, and wish I would have read some of the previous reviews where people shared similar experiences to my own. I guess if they keep getting away with it, there is no real motivation to honor a warranty.

We purchased a Concolor Fir from Arbor Hills Tree Farm and we are very pleased with the experience. Made an appointment to visit the farm and was impressed with the variety of all trees on hand. From time of picking our tree out to planting was about 3 weeks which is what was promised. The crew that planted our tree was very professional, careful and helpful. It was a big tree, but they moved it into our backyard with skill and care. Like all evergreens, there was a best side which we wanted facing our house. Crew planted tree with that orientation at our request. They did a great job and our new tree looks great. Thank you.
