I have had nothing but a positive experience at Behavioral healthcare. The front office is welcoming and kind. It is easy to get an appointment. Also, have never had to wait around in the reception area. Which I appreciate. Especially these days. Dr. Shin is knowledgeable and answers any questions that I have.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. Shin is a poor excuse for a psychiatrist. He seems to thrive on writing prescriptions and directly and negatively contributes to the ongoing prescription pill abuse epidemic. Tell me how it is acceptable for a doctor to continue prescribing a highly addictive medication to a patient who has admitted he has an addiction to said medication? I am utterly disgusted by Shin’s complete disregard to his patient’s mental health and by his complete lack of proper psychiatric care. Shame on you and your practice “Doctor” Shin.

This is the worst mental health clinic I have ever been to in my entire life! I had only two appointments with Doctor Elizabeth Martin and she did nothing but sit there and collect a paycheck. I had to schedule our third visit around her two week vacation and missed the appointment because they do not do appointment reminders, hoping you will no show to collect a hefty 300 dollar fee... from mental health patients.... for making a mistake due to their mental health disorder... In our two appointments I no joke think we talked more about her and her daughter more than any of my issues but after the bill I got I stopped seeing her and have not been seen by a provider since. I tried working with the billing dpt and they literally didn't call back and sent it to collections after I agreed to pay. I am disputing this charge on my credit report and recommending NOBODY COME HERE!!!

I have been a patient of both Dr. Shin and Ms. Jan Cheek. Both were compassionate and caring. Dr. Shin helped me manage medical aspects of my condition. Ms. Cheek helped me by listening and offering excellent advice. I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs help. They let you know up front about their 24-hour cancellation policy, which is a lot less than many doctors’ offices, who often require 48-72 hours to cancel.
