I came here back when Dr. Sharon Hauseman-Cohen practiced here, who was very good and on occasion I saw Laurelin Mullins who was very nice as well. However, Ms. Mullins had a very different demeanor with my teenage daughters and in fact made both of them cry on separate occasions, with her condescending and contemptuous, sarcastic tone. I was shocked because she had never been that way with me. I hope she sees this because I never told her how upset she made me about this. I can’t help but think this has happened with others. Don’t take your children to see her.

UPDATE: 1st I called the billing department again-no help 2nd. they deleted the charges on part of November , December, and January. 3.Today 1/27/2021 CHARGES ARE BACK! I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM. Dr. Chalkias, left a 30 second message on my phone and made a charge of $164.She then called back to leave the same message and charged me $164 again (not to mention the other charges she also made). When I asked for an explanation, they said it was an appointment that I did not attend on those two occasions. I told them I was never informed of the appointment and their reply was that it was my responsibility to call to find out if the doctor wanted to see me and that the charges were real so it was my responsibility as a patient to pay them. I hope you will benefit from my experience if you are considering seeing a SETON Family Doctor.

I had a great experience here! Dr. Martin listened to my concerns and took a lot of time to understand my needs. He was wonderful, and I'll definitely be back to see him! The nurses were very kind and thoughtful, and the staff at the front desk were also nice and efficient. I was called in at my actual appointment time, which I don't think has ever happened to me at a doctor's office before! I definitely recommend this place!

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, may appear like a bad cold to adults. For infants or young children, RSV can cause bronchiolitis -- a virus which causes swelling and an increase in mucus in the airway. This can cause difficulty breathing through their nose and eventually dehydration due to difficulty latching to the breast or bottle for infants. Other symptoms of RSV may include a fever or a very wet sounding cough, which can turn into coughing fits. Those coughing fits can cause a child to gag and potentially vomit.
If you think your child has RSV or bronchiolitis, it is important to keep your child hydrated and monitor for fever or shortness of breath. Contact your child’s doctor, who can test for RSV and provide recommendations to keep your child safe at home. If your child’s health situation is serious or life-threatening, go to the nearest ER or call 911.
By staying home when you or a loved one is ill and washing your hands regularly, you can help keep yourself and your children healthy.
We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on our website at ascension.org.
If someone is experiencing severe mental distress, care shouldn’t be delayed. A person experiencing a mental health crisis should go directly to the emergency room or call 911. ERs at Ascension hospitals are open 24/7, offering compassionate care for urgent mental health crisis intervention. And rest assured that safety precautions are in place to help protect patients and families.
While you don’t need an appointment at our urgent care and walk-in locations, you have the option of scheduling your visit online. You can select a time in the next 24 hours at a location that’s close to you, then wait in the comfort of your home.
Our urgent care clinics offer online check-in for patients so you can wait somewhere you feel more comfortable or walk in anytime.
Our urgent care clinics are ready to provide the care patients need in one place. Lab and imaging are available onsite.
We have fully staffed urgent cares to take care of your needs and to help reduce the time from door to doctor.
Because we’re more than urgent care, we can connect you to the follow-up care that’s right for you. We have a large network of specialists and a broad range of care options, so you can find a doctor that meets your needs.
Typically an urgent care visit will cost less than an ER visit, but this may depend on many factors, such as insurance coverage and/or the services required to address your health needs. Your co-pay and out-of-pocket costs at an urgent care clinic are typically much less than what you are charged at the emergency room.

Our urgent care teams are comprised of doctors, APRNs (advanced practice registered nurses), nurse practitioners and nurses.
When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between urgent care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek urgent care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1.
