Nightshade Inn & Gardens

I came to town from out of state for a funeral and was pressed to find something at the last minute that was decent and not too expensive. The Nightshade Inn & Gardens fit the bill. The motel room was on the smaller side, but it looked newly remodeled. There was a nice armchair for sitting in the corner, but no desk or table. The room included a microwave and a small refrigerator. A couple bottles of water, granola bites, and a bowl of fruit were left in the room for guests and that was a nice touch. My only criticism was that the bed was super firm and not very comfortable. Despite that, I'd stay in this motel if I ever make it back to the area.

Very comfortable stay. The fruit, snacks, coffee were all very nice touches. Quiet location between Syracuse and Skanneatles.

We bikers appreciated the fresh fruit and bottled water in the room, as well as fruit, coffee and mini pastries in the lobby in the morning. There are no restaurants in walking distance but we brought our own takeout, there's a microwave in the room. The room was very clean, cheerful and comfy.

The room was so clean, cute and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The owner met me at my door with a bowl of fresh fruit and welcomed me to the area, pointed out places I might like to eat. It was also nice and quiet, very relaxing and quaint. My only dislike was the bed, it wasn’t very soft, so if you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. I did absolutely love the sheets and blankets though. So fluffy and comfortable!
