Great place to learn about birds and aquatic life that are native to Nebraska. Go to the education center for all sorts of fun. Trails are well kept and are enjoyable.

Some trails were closed, as well as the museum—maybe due to the season or COVID but, there were still much to see. No crowds at all. It was quiet and pretty cold. I probably saw two people. It was a bit eerie exploring with no sounds, other than the nearby cars driving by the road and, maybe, some birds. It was a pleasant small hike after a long morning. It was peaceful for me. I loved it.

Small aquarium with local species. It's not always about size. My kids had a blast learning about the local wildlife and I had fun as well. The state records for fishing are all located on the walls along with other information that is fun for a local outdoorsman. It's only a short walk to get to the old hatchery. Don't forget a small bag of cat food to feed the carp.they will almost climb out of the lake to get it from you. We all had fun with that!took the short walk up a small trail to get to a playground and walked the same path out again. It was a great stop.

I believe I saw a few grills to use by the pond. Im not 100% sure though. Definitely worth visiting the park though.
