Two weeks ago on Thursday, we went to order new phones at this store. I thought it was a pleasant experience, but my wife wasn't happy with the customer service rep who served us and didn't have a good experience. We were told the phones would arrive Saturday. They did not. They came the following Tuesday. The same rep helped us set up the new phones, which went really well. The trade-in value for my wife's phone arrived in her email just fine. Mine never got emailed. I called Spectrum's call center, and she told me it was being resolved and that if they didn't connect with me by Friday to call back. Last weekend, I called them back and Spectrum said there's nothing they could do because the sales rep at the this store didn't put the trade through. I was now sharing my wife's view of the experience with said rep at the store. This Wednesday I went in with a bad attitude but was pleasant. The manager on staff that day was the manager from the Morristown location. His name is Cam, and he was there covering for this location's manager because he had Covid. Cam was super busy with inventory, but despite that he went ABOVE and BEYOND to get my iPhone 13 (that I had just bought) traded in for a iPhone 13 Pro Max because I was unhappy with the 13. He credited me enough in credits to make up for the lack of a trade-in, which allowed me to keep my 8+ to sale on my own. I sold it for $125 to a coworker. Cam is a suburb manager, and he worked his tail off to make me a happy customer again! He and the workers there that day (the original sales rep who sold me the 13 and 11 was not there) were very kind and helpful and understanding. I was assured that the sales rep who made these mistakes was always on his game, but that he slipped and would be coached about this once he returned. Cam helped me to still be a Spectrum customer! I was prepared to go take my money and devotion to another carrier I was so beyond frustrated about the situation. It was a first for me in being a customer with Spectrum Mobile for almost 3 years now. Thanks Cam and the workers there last Wednesday for your time and patience with me and for getting me set up with my amazing 13 Pro Max! I am once again happy with Spectrum and the care they gave me that day, especially Cam!
