My brother was discharged from Waddell on October 5, 2021. He was there for follow-up treatment following acute treatment of an infected wound at Twin County Regional Hospital. My brother is cognitively impaired and has other psychological issues. The nursing home was apprised of this in detail, but failed to take these matters in consideration in planning for his discharge. His case worker was notified in a timely manner that my brother had difficulty understanding the personal and nursing care that he would need after discharge. While the medical care for his wound seemed reasonable, Waddell staff did not adequately treat the whole patient. They deemed him "competent," but in fact sent home a man who is a danger to himself. I cannot escape the feeling that this was corporate medicine at its worst.

I wouldn't send my dead dog there. Absolutely horrible. The staff does not focus on patient care and there's not enough staff to even take care of yours or my grandparent. The food is horrible. It's a horrible environment.

My mom is there. She just called and one of the employees has stolen cash ($500+)out of her night stand there! If you have a family member there, and they like to keep cash on hand. Get them a small safe to keep in their room.

Our mother is a resident there and we are happy with her care most of the time, however, during this Covid, she has gotten her first bed sore, which tells us that she's not getting the same good care, now that family cannot visit. Was that good care only because there was family there daily? ?They won't show me the bed sore/take a picture, but just tell us that it's not bad and that it's healing🤔. If they had nothing to hide, they would text us a picture of it right?
