Through My Eyes
Dr. Molnar was very snobby and rude! Lacks patience and certainly isn't a people person. Lacks professionalism! Sad to see what I experienced this day!

If I could give them 0 stars, people please, if you already there and waiting, believe me just leave that terrible place. I was waiting at the emergency at the waiting room for 4 hours and then nurse called me to follow her inside and I waited another 2 hours and still no one came to see me so I decided to leave. They are just stretching the time to serve fewer patients until their shift is over. What a shame, no humanity

With the exception of one thing, my visit was good. I would've given 5 stars had I not had a terrible parking issue. I received my parking voucher when we arrived. No one........NO ONE........had asked if we had a parking voucher. I left my parking voucher in the car thinking if I didn't my car would be ticketed. After my loved one was discharged, I went to leave the lot to go to the entrance to pick up my loved one, who was TWO....DAYS....POST....SURGERY and I only had CASH!!!! I WAS STUCK AT THE EXIT GATE!!!! WHY?????? BECAUSE THE PAYMENT KIOSK ONLY ACCEPTED CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS!!!! I NEEDED A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD FOR THREE DOLLARS!!!! Either make sure all of the people at the Welcome Desk every visitor ask for and validate parking vouchers, place signs all over to tell people to bring your parking vouchers inside to be validated or make sure your payment kiosks accept ALL FORMS OF PAYMENT!!!!

My 91 year old father was brought to Westchester Medical Center after a bad fall. We were treated respectfully with kindness and compassion by every single person at the hospital. We needed to switch to comfort care and my father was was indeed made comfortable and had a peaceful death. The doctors cared for him but also kept making sure my mother and I were ok as well. They brought us fruit, snacks and water. They moved him to a large room for more family members to arrive and for us to be all together. Nothing but good things to say!

11 AM - 6:30 or 7 PM (depending on the ICU) and then again from 8 PM - 9 PM. Outside of the visiting hours is allowed for one close family member (spouse, parent, etc.) with manager approval. 2 adults over the age of 12 are allowed on the unit at a time. Restrictions are lifted for end of life patients. No fresh flowers are allowed to be brought into patient rooms.
Excellent
Yes absolutely, keep me updated on your results w LOVE Patricia Robinson
Kids are not allowed on the maternity floors unless they are siblings of the new arrival. Kids are not allowed at all in the ICU. I have seen visitors as young as 3 in other areas of the hospital though.
10901 is the zip code
Yes there is a shop
I believe it's 8:00 am - 9:00 p.m. it's been a while CALL them to make sure
I'm not sure I'd say CALL them to find out
Up to 1 hour: $3.00 Up to 2 hours: $4.00 Up to 3 hours: $5.00 Up to 24 hours: $6.00 An “All Day” parking pass can be purchased at the payment stations for $7, which allows unlimited use of visitor parking (self-park only) for 16 hours from time of purchase.
He will be there tomorrow
No fresh flowers allowed in the Burn Unit as they attract insects and the patients have open wounds.
Only for major trauma and infections. Not for routine tooth pain, cavities, etc.
Good morning I'm not sure I get off the parkway right the hospital
My husband was in this hospital for 3 weeks and even with patient advocate speaking to them I still did not get a call
Only family can get information. You need to be on the patient's list that is filled out prior to admission
Yes. There is a Panera on the main floor and a cafeteria in the basement
2.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Enough to man the facility and provide services to the patients.
If you're on 287 heading east get off exit 4 and make a left turn back on to the on ramp heading west on 287. Take next exit, 3 on to sprain parkway

If you do bring a child I would highly suggest they wear a mask. I am sitting in the Trauma unit and it is discouraged here.
Should be I would check their website to make sure.
That's a very vague question. Too many variables. I would suggest contacting patient services? But I can tell you from first hand experience, this is Westchesters best kept secret. Best care, most knowledgeable physicians, bar none, you cant go wrong by coming here. The fact that it is a level one Trauma center should tell you alone the level of expertise you will be exposed to.
I know the nurses do I'm not sure which one. As for the rest of the staff I don't know sorry
The Burn Center does skin grafting, not sure about any other services at this facility
I think that is a Department of Social Services question. I'm unable to give you an answer.
Google the Human resource
Call the hospital, this is for locals and stuff, not staff
I was a patient for 2 weeks. Like clockwork i was seen and my burn healing progress was photographed by my surgeon when i was bathed. I felt as if my recovery was more team focused. The staff was well informed by the doctors so i really didn't have any issues. It does seem like the doctors are busy, but i still felt well cared for.
It might be under Construction so please ask security in the main lobby for assistance
It will be difficult unless you have a patient already in the hospital being attended by that department
