I found the structures to be quite interesting and enjoyed the posted information relevant to the artifacts. However, I did not see a single employee except for one who was too deep in the barn darkness to actually see, but we did hear her quite clearly tell us that the barn was closed. We were not able to tour the main house because it was locked. However a sign one the door stated that it was open and we should have a staff member unlock it for us. Since no one was around there and it seemed silly to speak with the abrupt woman in the barn, we just left. The main house was something I especially would have enjoyed, so it was very disappointing. On a positive note, in the first building they did have laminated copies of the farm, which was very helpful.

Visited to do an adventure lab for geocaching, stayed and explored because we'd never been here before and it was alot of fun.

Very interesting place. A lot of great local history.

Lovely and interesting historic site. Was very impressed with the structures and how clean and well maintained everything was. We commended the rangers on a job well done! Stopped by on a weekday, and it was very quiet. However, they do demonstrations in the mill on the weekends and during special events.
