The meter reader pepper sprayed my dog today. She is traumatized and so am I. My skin is burning and I was coughing while rinsing it off of her so I can only imagine how much pain she was in and continues to be in. The vet said the effects could last for days. My dog is the sweetest, most inocent baby who actually comes to work with me every day and is loved and adored by all who meet her. The meter reader could have jiggled the fence to check for dogs or even knocked on the front door because I was home! I could have cleared the yard of our 3 dogs for her. She was trigger happy with the pepper spray because she had been bitten before which is totally negligent on the company's behalf for letting her back in the field. If you're afraid of dogs, don't go into people's yard, unannounced!! I can't even get through to anyone for assistance and I would say this is definitely an emergency.

Worst company ever had to wait 3 hours just for the power to go back up again?

Worst service experience. Came to five to six times outside wire issue but still not working. Nobody comes on the phone. Waiting for power restored for last twelve hours. Promised to fix on May 7th at 8.00pm. It May 8th morning & still not fixed yet. Very disappointed with their service.

Get 3rd pole number and call JCP&L tell representative the street and give them the pole #. Also mention fear for the children
One would be for your home and one could be for individual equipment such as a heater, refrigeration or air conditioning. There are also two or more meters on a building that may have an apartment/ apartments. Call the service center on your electric bill and they can give you more clarity on the second meter.
No, you have to hire a private professional electrician
