The beach is a little too crowded. However, downtown area has nice shops and restaurants. Good place for a day trip or weekend at the beach.

One of the best waterfront boardwalk . It was doesn’t have rides and all. But you get food and clean beach. Free parking too you have to look for it

Asbury Park boardwalk is coming back to life. Most of the shops and restaurants are filled with very few vacancies. On a recent Saturday many folks were enjoying walking and/or eating out on the boards.

There is a dedicated place for pets next to the beach.. it’s the same beach with separation
There is a place that rents out lounge chairs and umbrellas. Not sure what they're called though.
