" The staff are friendly and exceptionally accommodating. I live about an hour away, and for the last fifteen years or so this has been my favorite campground to go to when I want to get away from home for a week or so. The grounds are always beautiful and clean, and they ensure that every camper has the best experience possible, from finding the best site to "keeping the peace". The town of McCloud is right outside the entrance to the campground, and there are many amenities that make it easy to have a really great time, regardless of how much planning you put into the trip. You will have a wonderful time every time you camp there!

Great peaceful park. Walking distance to the town of McCloud. Quaint little town with a lot of history. The owners and the workers are all very kind and helpful. The down side is the internet, antenna and cable TV are virtually non existent so if you need entertainment you need to bring it with you. The flip side of that is it was a great place to disconnect and focus on the beautiful surroundings and take long walks.

A step up from the average bleak, overcrowded rv park. Most sites are on a huge expanse of well maintained lawn. Well shaded by huge pine trees. Most sites have power and water, many have sewer hook ups. Facilities are clean and well maintained. This is our go to park as a halfway stop when going to Oregon or Northern California coast. Right at the base of My. Shasta. Great Base camp for exploring Shasta area.

We enjoyed this RV resort a lot. Our reservation was posted on the front bulletin board with easy directions to our spot. Tammy (the owner) walked over to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Jorge brought us wood for the fire pit. The park was so peaceful and quiet. Green grass everywhere. We are full timers and would come back here for a longer stay if we are ever in northern Ca again. Thank you Tammy and Warren for your hospitality and your beautiful park.

We were JUST there last week and the place was busy as can be so I know it's open. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer as to why no one is answering phones.
They have electric and water hook-up and there is one wast dump you can pull up from to empty your black water. It's by there bathrooms. They also have hot showers for guest
The main bedroom is separate and the loft bedroom is upstairs, open but still semi private.
I have visited McCloud R V park but you will need to contact the park for reservations.
Calling is better when making special requests
