Had an amazing time for it being the second times! Awesome place to visit but carry your patience. And wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A lot of walking!

My family and I visited the Texas Ren Fest for the second year in a row. This year we went in costumes for their "Heroes and Villains" weekend. We had a good time, but make sure you get there early do to traffic. Also, too many people drinking, smoking, and dressed questionably for what is advertised as a "family-friendly" event. A lot of that behavior is better suited for their "after dark" adults only time. Still my family had fun which is what mattered most to me.
