We returned our modem and router to this store and were told we would receive an e-mail receipt within 24 hours. Never received that receipt and then wasted time with chat support and phone support who have no record of the returned equipment. We are still being charged on our bill now. DO NOT return your equipment here without some paper proof as you walk out the door.

I know hate is a strong word but I absolutely HATE Optimum. They have the worst service but the my bill keeps going up. I've swapped equipment, had technicians come but they still can't fix the problem! The worst part is I can't even change providers.. it's like I'm being held hostage and just have to pay for service that I'm not satisfied with! Optimum is the WORST!

I called customer service at 230pm spoke to a rep named Raquel, she was not helpful at all she would not do any troubleshooting with me. I asked to speak to a manager and was hung up on. Reason for my call my internet service has been spotty for the last few days. Got to the point that the wifi 5g network option would not work the regular network worked but dropped continuously. Did all the trouble shooting I could on my end, like rebooting the modem & wifi. I have notice ever since altice bought out Cablevision the customer service and internet service has gone down. I pay for a service that does not consistently work I pay $68 a month for 200mega bytes of internet which is outrageous. Unfortunately there are no other options in the section of old bridge I live in. It is just a big monopoly, so Cablevision aka optimum aka altice can treat you like this. We as tax payers should have the option to pick any internet service we want to keep the market fair and pricing reasonable.

Can I return box at your location
I was at the store yesterday and they don't have any equipment. They were referring everyone to call optimum direct. I heard they will have equipment next week but I would check first.
Can I return a cable box at that location
Yes, you could take your current router and they will swap it out with upgraded one. The only variable is switching from Samsung box to Altice, if this is the case then they will send a technician out to have it installed correctly. If it’s only a simple router swap, they will do it with ease.
