My wife and I were passing through Eureka coming down the coast and stopped here as the last chance for a bed for the night before pushing on. The prices for a room in this town are pretty unreasonable, even for the 2 bed queen that was left it was 150 for a single night. The room was clean, the front desk worker was kind and friendly, pets are indeed free, but the beds were terrible-- the mattresses were old and slanted, and she kept rolling on top of me because of it.

We didn't have a reservation when we stopped here for the night but the ladies at the desk were totally awesome. They hooked us up with a wonderful room, heck it was a full suite with kitchen and dining area. Very helpful in getting us this spot so we could park the motorcycle right out front. The place was incredible, so much so that I have flagged it in my journal to visit again sometime.

We were offered a room here after there was a problem at the other hotel they own. These rooms have been totally upgraded. Beds were comfy, bedding clean and parking is plenty. The front desk are all absolutely awesome . Food and restaurants are within walking distance.

If you stand outside for a few minutes catching a bit of sun and a morning breeze, you get told to go inside and then your deposit may be stolen because of it. Horrible service, bad management, and the room was without coffee maker nor a mirror. Would spend more $ for quality service any day.

No they do not offer laundry to those passing through. Only the live in tenants may use laundry. There is a laundromat up the road
Hello Chris. Good news. Cats are allowed to stay at Motel 6. Both cats and dogs. Just make sure to be respectful and remember the staff are wonderful individuals and there for all their guests. Please clean up after your animals. Keep the good vibe up so the company allows your animal babies to not be far from you. Good Luck and The BEST on your travels! ,,,🐾🐾
It's price gouging when the Carr fire started they were charging almost 200 for a night
This hotel was the first Motel 6 I've stayed in for many years. The Best Western wouldn't help me and told me to go online. I couldn't. The Motel 6 is not the safest and the rooms are sparce but after 10 hours of driving I didn't care. I had a room on the back side away from the parking lot. No soap or towels but all I needed was to lay down for awhile. Check in was scary with the homeless surrounding the office.
You need to ask the front desk on check in. Some hotels have a different age for senior discounts.
