This looks like the first bad review this place would get! But I signed up for the dog training classes for my Pit-bull terrier and I felt that we was discriminated against first because of the bread and our color. We are an African- American family that wanted to get our nine month old pup trained, we were so excited but our excitement turned into disappointment. The trainer Joe looked scared since we walked in with our dog. He tried to feed our pup and he growled and he dropped the treat and stated he can’t train our dog because he is aggressive. Our dog sense his fear and reacted. We are a loving family and our dog is loving once he gets to know you. Then he made a statement “ that he can’t believe our dog never attack someone” why would he make that statement as if to say we are treating/ training the dog aggressively. He wants the fluffy dogs to train not the big dogs. We took three trains to get to the location and it was a waste of time and money. Pet o never getting my money for any products in stores or online.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to get all your pet's needs.

Same as any other place that allows the public to shop! They also allow dogs that are leashed
They do.
No
No
Call them.
Adoptions are done through the particular rescue organization. Your application must be approved, all references check out well, and a home visit done prior to approval of the adoption. I think the fee for a kitten/cat is $150.00.
You must inquire at the store or check online. Also, try other locations. You should also apply at Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue, it's a bigger store.
apply on there webs,if there any jobs they call you .good luck
I don't think so.
I don't believe so, but I'm sure they have other things that will work
The best thing to do is find out where the Mobile truck. 200 for or 5 with Medicaid or foodstamp card. They fixed my baby and saved her life 1 more day they said she would have died sorry petco petland near you will have the schedule.
Great question, Jack. I do not believe that they do but perhaps calling will get you a more direct response.
This store is more geared to cat and dog supplies. No they don’t have tanks.
They don't sell pets. Local rescue groups hold adoption events at the store. You may want to call the store to find out when the next event is.
They have an adoption day where a truck that you can enter and see the cats shows up at this petco.
No, no service dog training. Only very basic dog training. Official service dogs should have public access skills and should pass the Assistance Dogs International Public Access Test. Service dogs are very expensive to train as their skills level are very high and requires a particular temperament. If you don't need an actual service dog, you can look into an Emotional Support Animal or therapy animal (they have less requirements and include a broader range of animals and traits).
Ive seen cat adoption but no dogs. Plenty of brooklyn-based dog adoption orgs.
