This PF is small, but with newer equipment than Brooklawn. It is always clean and not usually insanely crowded although sometimes parking is hard to come by.
Blank Slate
My time with this gym was short. The guys and gals behind the desk are super helpful and courteous to you. They keep it clean, however the crowd in the afternoon there is a little too much. It's a lot of pretentious kids who come in and hog the machines text on them have no courtesy to the actual people who pay the membership there. It's a shame cuz all the kids who go there for free are going to drive out the paying members. Overall I would not recommend it unless you want to go and get annoyed by kids who hog machines and act like they own the gym. Nice place runied g by parents who don't want to watch their kids after school or put them in programs. Shame shame

I rarely give reviews, but just have to speak to how horrible his place is run. I use to love it, clean, and friendly staff. Now when I go in..it's dirty, sometimes I just want to use the tanning booth, but no one is at the front desk..so I have to just leave. I've asked the manager to clean their white fence that is on their property so many times as the other side of the fence is on Cambridge ave and is moldy.. Either he lies and says he will get it cleaned, ignores me, or asked for permissions from neighbors to clean it..the part of the fence I've told him about is not on anyone's property but the planet fitness property. So my boyfriend and I cleaned it ourselves. Today I went in and could not use the tanning booth as it started working but then cut off. The Manager said I'd have to wait a bit as he needs to reset it again. Um there are other ones you could have moved me to that were free. Why do you have such difficulty with your equpment..this has occurred more times than I can count. So that's it...I'll find another gym and another place to tan. I've gone in more times disappointed than happy. And fyi I run multiple facilites..so covid and finding good help is not the issue...it's management and lack of training and accountability.

So first I do like this gym, it’s close to home and convenient with the hours and employees are friendly. Aside from that it is so overcrowded, you can barely ever find a parking spot& lately I can’t even find a spot ANYWHERE in this huge gym to go on a mat and stretch because there are so many people in the stretching/exercise room. Also during these times that it’s so busy, the website doesn’t say so when in fact it’s overcrowded. I would normally not post a review like this but since you cannot reach them online and anyone working here can’t help, they are friendly but they aren’t management or able to do anything. So this is the only way of communicating a problem that needs to be addressed.

I don't think it's separate from the membership, I believe you have to pay for the black card membership around $20 per month and can tan everyday.
You should check out PE@PF where you can receive advice and even attend small classes with a certified trainer. We hope that helps. 👍
