We recently were in the market for a new refrigerator to replace our older one. We looked at the big box stores in Bluffton, but decided we wanted to support local businesses in Hilton Head, where we live. Since we are relatively new owners on the island we asked friends for recommendations. Initially, a competitor to Apple Appliance, who is located very close to them, was suggested. We went to that store, but had a very unsatisfactory experience, as they basically dismissed us and seemed not interested in “only selling us a refrigerator”. They indicated it would be as late as February 2023 before they could get us the midrange style we were looking for. I guess if we were in the market for a high end model we could get it sooner. So, we asked another friend who recommended Apple Appliance. We went there and immediately were greeted by very friendly and knowledgeable staff, Josue and Lillian. We were shown several options and Josue asked many questions to help narrow down what model would work best for us. We settled on a particular refrigerator and went home to re-measure, just to be sure it would fit in our rather tight space. I then called back and placed the order. They indicated it could be several weeks before delivery, but that was vastly more optimistic than the “other store”. In less than a week, we heard it was in and several days later it was installed. Like with the sales staff, the two delivery men were very friendly and on time. We are happy with the new refrigerator and also very happy with Apple Appliance Center. They offer a nice selection of products, competitive prices, great customer service, and we feel good supporting a locally owned business. We’ll certainly go back to them when we replace other appliances!
