I'm a fan of this restaurant it's my go to for fried clams as not many places down here offer that.

90 minutes of my life and $38. That was the fare for a shrimp po boy, shrimp wrap and 7 crab balls. During the 45 minute wait for the crab balls, there were at least 7 to-go orders picked up. Captain Joe’s has apparently learned that they don’t need good service as long as the food is passable. It seems their to-go orders generate enough revenue to keep the lights on. But if they want to thrive instead of survive, it will require slightly more effort, especially when the best restaurant in town is less than a mile away and less expensive.

This my one and only time visiting this restaurant. Food was okay, but the service was not. We waited 45 minutes for just the appetizer! Was really disappointed.
