Great place for a walk and swim with your dog, or for some light off-roading. Beautiful flowers and clean trails.

Beautiful park, a real treasure hiding in pine barrens.

Yes, there are quite a few areas where you can ride a bike, although many areas are sandy, or paths that are pine needle-covered.
Yes it is. All the trails are pretty flat. And depending on how far you want to run, you can combine a couple trails. I don't run there, but I bike a lot. Usually 10 to 15 miles or so. But you can also run the same trails.
Not horrible but you’re definitely walking in the woods so it’s still something to look out for.
Yes
I haven't seen fish in the creek. Nor have I seen people fishing in my many visits... The creek does go through a large pond type area where there may be fish. It's behind the spillway area which I think is to the west of the park office ... I just saw Stan's remarks. You can canoe & kayak through the park. There are local canoe services, or you can use your own. You can also go tubing through it! But you should know the creek before you do that...
I have never seen anyone fishing there. This park is an old cranberry plantation. Very beautiful place for family hiking
I don't think so, I've never seen anyone fish there, it's mostly people kayaking and hiking
There is an unusual area in Double Trouble State Park, on the border of Berkeley and Lacey Townships in Ocean County, where all of the trees had apparently been pushed down in a strange circular pattern by some unknown force. Is it the landing site of a UFO, or was it perhaps ground zero for a meteor strike or where a freak tornado touched down unobserved? Nobody seems to know for sure. Continue reading →
Near cedar creek campground or further down Western Blvd.
Not sure of there are any huntable areas in Double Trouble
Not in the park, but I always see hunters vehicles parked immediately west of the GSP. So I imagine that you would find it good there.
