This is nothing more than a bougie luxury wanna be without the luxury care just luxury prices business, & by bougie I don’t mean the original French meaning but in context of its modern slang meaning. My overall assessment of Hudson Veterinary Hospital is they are only there to make money any & every way possible, unnecessary & repetitive test, items you were not told about as so on. As for Veterinarian Kevin Hudson, he is a reckless untrustworthy, irresponsible Veterinarian and would never recommend him to anyone!!! The majority of the staff including techs are just office people who should be working in an office tucked away somewhere, it’s definitely not your friendly fur friend loving staff (With exception of 2).This staff, vet included are the most uninformative group , they do not offer up information on anything, it’s like walking blind thru everything or as the Vet told me, “well I can’t tell you unless you ask me”. It’s hard to ask when I’m not given an opportunity too & your rushed rushed like paying for their time is such an inconvenience to them & It’s hard to ask when I’m not given a guideline to ask anything about”. And that’s my response! Today I did get questions answered but, I had to make it very known I needed questions answered first before proceeding As for the Vet himself, he definitely thinks very highly of himself, and according to him, the majority of other vets are wrong or lying, I can see how he could misdiagnose easily from another review I read. 2 things I absolutely hate: No information or lack there of & disinformation, in other words not being truthful! At the exam for my puppy I was given a bill estimate for a spay surgery I requested on, the estimate is good for 30 days as it states. Est being $450.00 I noticed additional items like microchip, nail clip & bloodwork ….no big deal except I should have been asked first if I wanted those included. When reviewing the anesthesia drugs, I see they are not normal animal surgical anesthesia drugs & one was extremely concerning to me, upon asking I got a repetitive BS answer. I later did connect the dots as to why he would use it, but I still think it’s a inappropriate & not good drug to use. I finally agreed to the spay surgery & the Vet says ok, so & so will be right in with the paperwork….. I wait…. So & so comes in with not paperwork but a NEW bill estimate now of $630 which is exactly 2 weeks from the first est, & the day of the surgery! It’s the old bait & hook trick! I don’t play that game! 2 things I absolutely will NOT tolerate is a scam liar meaning done on purpose & someone who WASTES my TIME! My TIME is of ABSOLUTE VALUE. Other things I noticed: Dogs shaking of fear in the waiting room, every dog taken to the back would not walk, they were dragged back with leash. 6 cats live there in the office, you’ll randomly see them about in chairs windows on counters, to free roam the place…. Slightly gross… I couldn’t sit in the 2 leather chairs in the room because they were completely covered in animal hair … gross. Times on the door are not correct, another wasted time & trip. Times on the door are not correct, another wasted time & trip. No one is hands on with the animals, like no one wants to touch or pet them. Someone else stated this in their review as well, for the full exam the Vet did not look at ears, nose, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, or heart. And…. For you vaccine booster shots you will be charged a exam fee of $45 plus the booster, $45 but he doesn’t even look at the pet….. right… To Hudson Veterinary staff: no need to respond back on this, there was no response back on the email questionnaire & if you can’t respond back in private then don’t do it for public show! Thanks!
