Tons to walk and nicely laid out Plenty of seating and accessible Would love to see more Fort Lauderdale historical items such as plaques or maps. Also would’ve liked a Public restroom

Whether you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale, work or even live there, the Riverwalk offers something for everyone. On this scenic route along the New River you will find several parks with lush vegetation, a variety of eateries and even an outdoor gym area! There are lots of benches (and tables) to sit, relax and just people watch as well. Why not take a ride on the water taxi or go on a sightseeing cruise while you’re there? It is also home to the historical Stranahan House Museum and the Museum of Science and Discovery. Both locals and tourists alike enjoy the Riverwalk but don’t take my word for it…go see for yourself!

It’s a nice walk with amazing views. Also, dog friendly. Take the water trolley, it’s free

Water taxi fee?

Water Taxi = $28 per person, a on and off and it goes up and down the New River and to the intercoastal. There is something called a free water trolley. The free water trolley only goes a short distance Up and Down the River in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Makes eight stops on and off as many times as you want. Good way to see downtown Fort Lauderdale.
